so i want to get a heater for my 2.5 gal, but not one thats gonna cost me an arm and a leg. so i found these on this website all for around 8 dollars. since theyre so cheap and they have no reviews i would just like to know if anybody has used them before.

What is the maximum that you can afford? 50 Watts are pretty strong for a 2.5 Gallon... I suggest at the maximum Watt, a 25 watt. Any more it would make fried fish. D: What about this one? Finnfinnfriend showed me this when I was paranoid XD: http://compare.ebay.com/like/1608345...Types&var=sbar

I'm not sure about the 3rd one... I've never heard about it before... Sorry. :(

I have the Hydor Theo 25-watt in my 3-gallon and I love it. It's been great, very reliable.

Are any of those adjustable? do you know..they say it would be better to go that route, I have a non adjustable heater, which is a Tetra 2-10 gal size, forget the Wattage, but the thermometer shows 78-79d consistantly.

Do yourself a favor check in your local Petsmart, Petco, Petlanddiscounts, Walmart. Reason being if you have a problem with it you don't want to have to pay shipping and handling to send it back. Nor do you want to have to wait a week or so to get a new one. It's easy enough to compare prices online and just pick it up yourself.
