How long to leave frozen food in fry tank

I want the fry to have a chance to eat but I don't want to leave a pile of food on the bottom of the tank. I have been removing the leftovers after about 4 hours. Any ideas?

IMO frozen foods depends on their condition - I mean a rather freshly frozen bloodworms can last for 2 hours sitting on a tank floor. But a not so fresh one may only last for half an hour before it starts to go bad.

If you know your frozen food won't go bad until 4 hours, then give your fry that amount of time. Otherwise feed a little at a time. Gather your fry by vibrating something at the water surface. And drop the food once most have gathered.
