bubbles recovery

okay so i recently saved this guy from bad conditions, someone who wasn't taking proper care of him. anyway I want to show progression pictures.

I am not entirely sure how his tail got in such bad condition, i think he may have ripped them and some fin rot, at first i though tail biter as well but i see new growth. i treated him with aq salt, and daily water changes until moving him to his new tank about 3 days ago.
I want to say this first pic was about 3 weeks ago when i rescued him, and the second one is of him tonight.i he is a double tail.
what do you think?

So far he looks like a double tail, he looks like he's improving though. It's awesome that he has you to take care of him now and save him from his poor conditions.

here is another update pic. I hope that his tail keeps growing back. has anyone had good results growing tails back? and what did you do besides the obvious, clean, warm water, and freeze dried bloodworms.

I heard that just some good clean water could help. And maybe AQ salt if its fin rot.

ALSO a high protein diet!
Too many bloodworms can have negative effects I heard.

Also, he looks like an airplane o.O

Isn't a wonderful feeling knowing you are saving a fish from an unheard of fate, he is a darling, and his tail will grow back, and you are doing the right thing, the clean water with AQ salt does wonders..I have a rescue in the middle pic of my Avi, named Sapphire, who came to me looking like a tadpole, you would never know it now, his fins are growing, he is growing, and is thriving..and I love it:)

just keep on doing what you are doing, but upgrade his diet to bring out those colors, try some Omega One pellets, or Hakairi Gold micro pellets, or NewLIfe spectrum pellets, they are great to boost the energy and colors:)

His tail looks like it's doing great! :D
I'm working on growing my betta's tail back after a filter accident (totally my fault), and have been adding API Stress Coat to the water with great results.

lelei - I have him on a betta pellet for main diet, I have been reading around here to see what everyone else uses. thanks for the food suggestions. I also am thinking of culturing some MW.

I just posted one on Saturday, He is looking great and boy has he got personality, always dancing for attention. I will try and take another better pic tonight after I do my water change.
I made the mistake of looking at the betta's today while picking up light bulb for my 10 gal and oops i brought home a lady CT who is small appears healthy but is in quarantine. i have no idea why i had to have her since i don't love crown tails that much. but she is cute. if she is really docile she might end up in my 20 long community setup, which i am planning to set up after vacation.
