twist and shout

Hi, I'm both new here and a new owner of two male bettas. I researched them pretty well before I purchased them, but I noticed that one of them, after feeding him pellets or bloodworms, starts to really twist his body back and forth. At first I was scared because I had not seen or read anything about this but it doesn't seem to be of any harm. I guess there are a number of things that could explain it such as just being "happy" or maybe he's helping the food down? Again just guesses but I thought I would ask around and see if anyone has seen something like this. I really enjoy keeping fish like this around, keeps me a little less lonely in my apartment haha. I hope to try my hand in breeding at some point after more research but for now this is just great. Thanks for any feedback.

"C'mon. c'mon, c'mon baby now (C'mon, baby).................." Brings back memories. lol Welcome to the world of fishkeeping. Sometimes fish do the darndest things. I have never seen a betta do the twist, nor have I ever seen a kuhli loach do the watusi. Have seen alot of fish do the "swim" though. (Sorry bad joke.) Enjoy your fish. The behavior, the unique, does not sound dangerous or signal anything bad
