No, you're allowed to have preferences in things!

I would like to have one of each tail type including a veiltail but I don't want a blue or red one. I feel mean about that too but I saw a white one with blue spots on it and I'm holding out until I see another "weird" veiltail.

Also I just have a weakness for white-and-blue .. I got a white and blue delta tail yesterday. I also saw a white and blue plakat I want but I live w/my mom right now and I think she will kill me if I get another one this soon :)

I'm not a huge fan of any fish that can't hold the weight of its fins when it gets on the older side. I can't really pin that down to a single tail type.

Maybe one day you will see a VT and get "love at first sight" when one picks you... :D

I wasn't a big fan of VT's because they were the only betta tail type I knew of for the longest time. I now have 4 of them 3 males and 1 female.

I tend to pick fish by personality. If something didn't "click" when I meet the betta in the pet store I left them. (Had to swear off any new pet only bettas)

Edited to add: I didn't see some other posts that were posted by the time I hit enter.

VT girls look better most other betta girls. VT girls fins are perfect (I do not like male VT, too long fin, too lumpsy--spell???).

My Avatar are my green dragon baby took when he is 3 months. He are now 4 months. Father is black dragon; mother is dark blue full mask but every betta babies are green. Go figure!

I would like to get one betta of each type to see what I like and why. I still need a veiltail and a plakat tail. Also .. I have no females and I feel a little bad about that. :/

I have a few more tanks but my outlets are getting all used up . . ha ha. No more places to plug in filters and lights and such.

You can like what you like. As long as you're not insulting about it. ;)

I adore my red VT girl. Cleo's the bomb, keeps us all vastly entertained.

I'm personally not a fan of overly long fins. So - I now keep females and plakats (and wilds! soon..) aside from my one HM boy but he'll be my last long fin. I do really enjoy looking at everyone's long-finned boys, however! They are a joy, just not for me as far as keeping bettas goes.
