NEW TANK :) Finally

No..it doesnt seem strong..i forget what kind.. it comes with that 5 gal tank..so its really made for that tank..but he gets very dis oriented..and swimms erratically..then hides away..i didnt baffle it..i just tookit out..it scared me..cause I know it scares him..

That's odd if he'd do that and the flow isn't too strong.

Or maybe it is for him, and it doesn't look that way to me, he's not used to a filter, he's never had one, and since I am not home during the day, in the begining I leave it off, then when I was home I tried running it to get him used to it, but no..he just couldn't handle it..:(

Yeah! I look at the picture again and it does have a clear top but I still love the design more than the 5.5 gal since it look like it's going to fit perfectly on my desk at school :) Hope i won't have trouble with the filter :(

Could be the noise if he's never had one before and the flow seems to be ok..Just let him get used to it.

@Hann, no the Hawkeye 5 gal tank, comes with filter..it's a great tank, but I opted not to use the filter.

Ironically he loves his bubbles from the air stone..:)

In that case I would say the filter probably hums and it's freaking him out which he should get used to.
