Talking Omg omg omg omg yes yes yes!!

TIMOTHY IS ALIVE!! I believe he was just sleeping! This morning I woke up and thought he was dead so I put him in a bag with no water to bring him back to petco to get a new betta. I called Petco and they said I had to put him in water so they could test it to give me a new one. so I did and HE STARTED SWIMMING AROUND!! :') OMG IM SO HAPPY!!

I'm sorry. But I had to LOL a bit.

Of course I'm thrilled that Timothy is okay. But I just imagined him waking up... "WTH! I'm in a bag!!? Where's the WATER GONE?"

Im sure he is super stressed and scared! Im going to wash all his gravel and plants just so the water is clear and so I dont think he is "dead" again.

You weren't going to give him a funeral if he was dead? You would just take him back?

Aus, lmao!
thelaserluke, I'm happy that Timothy is alive. I think that doing that would be a good idea. May he live long and prosper. :p

I am sure he wasn't harmed too much by being in a bag.. bettas have lived up to several hours out of water. Oldfishlady recently had a tank tip over in the night, and the betta washed across the room and up against a wall for something like six hours? And when she plopped him in some water, he was fine. A bit hairy, but fine. They evolved that way, and he'll get over the stress pretty fast. :)
