Couldn't help it....

Recently got a new boy into my betta fam... Zero :)

I had already made plans for another betta after I got Vader and started cycling a 20gal tank for two(:D using the filter that my bro decided to upgrade from). I originally wanted to buy a white HM at my lfs from their new shipment but I decided to look some more and found him instead. I fell in <3... So I took him home right away...

Housing him in the black side down below

He's very nice looking and I love the tank setup! The black and white contrast looks great!!! :)

Oh, he's beautiful. I really like the Yin and Yang theme going on in there, too!

With him being white, he will really stand out with the black background, clever choice!

:D Thank you!! My bro gave me the idea... Zero does stand out in his home and Vader does too, which was the plan. I'm currently treating Vader for internal parasites in the same tank :( (only caught that he was sick after I placed him in) (Had to move him cause I was a noob and didn't cycle his tank, which had a nitrite spike, after an amonia spike xD... I didn't even know I was doing the "fish in" cycle method) Zero's fine, healthy stool, Vader's stool is not. I've already added proxypro to the tank (treats internal parasites and safe as a preventative as well so i treated the whole tank just in case) and is feeding Vader and Zero antibiotics pellet from jungle fish.... Vader hates it but he eats it eventually. He looks better from the first day I diagnosed his problem. Zero doesn't even touch it.... I left Vader's tank cycling..... Hopefully it'll be good enough to move them both in if there's a nitrite spike in their new tank... I am such a noob.... But I am learning.... :)

It's great that you're learning and I hope Vader gets better. Trust me, we've all lade little mistakes (heck, once I got into a fight with my brother and it ended up with my fish getting stressed and dying.)

I love the names, by the way.
