Haven't gone this long

Took off my two tongue ring two days ago
Haven't have them off for this long
In the three years that I have them

I'm so use to playing with them when I'm bored
Feel strange without them on
Plus I don't remember where I put them
Have a few others but theyre long bar n long bar irritate me

Don't you guys/gals feel strange when u have something on for so long n go few days without it having it on

I felt really weird when I took my eyebrow bar out. Now I feel weird with it in.

Same with my nose piercing, I probably missed that more, since I've had that one for 27 years now.. (from back in the day when piercing was like !! rebellious!! and stuff..)

And I have a pendant I never take off. It fell of the other week around the house and I spent an hour wondering why I felt "odd".. then I found the pendant, lol.

Thing that u have on more then a year u won't realize that its missing at the moment
It just feel weird
When it hits up
Its like dang it where did it go
Or u have it on for to long n forgot that u have it
Like the tattoo on my back
Once in awhile I forgot that I have one
Cause it's on my back I don't see it every day
Or even if u see it every day
Sooner or later u will forget about it

I forgot I had a tattoo on my back.. ><

It's been there so long. I just never think about it. And I was wearing a top last summer which showed it - one of Daughter's friends said "Hey I like your tattoo!"

Thing is, none of my others are -anywhere- I would show off in public, so I was for a second, thinking I'd split my pants or something.

Threads like this make me feel so OLD! It's been so many years since I had any work done, and now I can't because of my condition (lymph failure - no more skin mods :( )

The colours are so much better now, too!

My last two piercing I was in pain for 2 week
Can't even where tight shirt
Yeah the color look a lot better
U can tell new age tattoo for the old
Richer n deep color tone
But nothing look better then a fresh tattoo
I like the look of scarification with the bright shinny coat look
To much of a wimp to get scarification

No I never remove my silver earrings, except mabey when I get my potaras. Other than that no mods on me.

I want to get my ear pierce
But haven't gotten to it
4 piercing n none of them is on my ear or face
Plus I still want some more ink work done

Meh, peircing and body modification has gotton so commonplace these days. Its like, so that guy has a pair of large gauges in his ears. So what?

When I was a teenager, an acquaintance told me I'd look good with a belly button piercing. So then I became obsessed with them. I begged my mom to let me get one and even made getting one sound all artistic and cool. But no, she didn't relent and I didn't have the guts to go behind her back and do it so I went without.

Then later on I read how terribly infected that they can get. That made me turn my mind around. Well that and the fact that I no longer had a flat teenage belly anymore. Let's face it, a belly button piercing doesn't look good on a gut.

I choose not to get piercings and tattoos. The only place I have ever had piercings is on my earlobes, and only once. I rarely wear jewelery so I don't see fit to get another piercing anywhere. As for tattoos, I am too chicken to get one. My mother got one when her folks passed away and she said it was something she didn't think I could sit through. She described it as a needle piercing the same super sore spot over and over again. Not an appealing idea in my opinion.

I guess I am now the extreme, being that my flesh is bare and ink free, and my body has no metal embedded within its flesh. Funny how that happens.

My piercings are recent, and have nothing to do with rebellion. I just like earrings.

I've thought about a tattoo but could never decide on one for any length of time.
