Introducing Tippi

Hi... This is where the bettafish go, right? Hahaha

My fish's name is Tippi, and I got him about an hour or so ago.
I've actually owned 5 other bettas before, and I wondered why they kept not living up to 5 months. I realized it was because they were in a 1 gallon bowl with no heater or filter..

So I decided to put this one in a 10 Gallon, with 8 tetra friends and a sucker fish. He loves it. Especially looking at his reflection and trying to attack it.

I have a picture of him as my avatar. He's kind of an albino one. He is a delta, and quite costly. (Well 8 dollars)

I got a nice setup with great bubble flow, plants and spots to hide and sleep in.



One light bulb needs replacing still...

He's kind of a peach color. :]
Usually names just come to me when I observe them and look at their colors and whatnot. There is no pattern... Kenny, Jake, Renold, Clyde, Lily, Tippi.... There is no patern..

Nice tank set up, I'm sure he will be happy in there - make sure the ornaments aren't sharp as it may tear his fins.

WELCOME! your tank is gorgeous! correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't tetras nippy towards bettas? also if you have a common pleco(a species of "sucker fish) they will grow to 2 feet and need a minim of 55 gallons to be happy and healthy.
