thanks for the replies and advice. I put her in a heated gallon tank to recover. I also had to remove the rosy red minnows (they were the rainbow sharks punching bags), shame on me for not noticing the aggression before hand

Thanks for the replies and advice, she is in her own heated 1 gallon tank now.I removed the minnows also because they were the rainbow sharks "punching bags". Shame on me for not noticing the agression earlir, but you have to start somwhere.

I think it might be best to start finding out what you're going to do with the female once she fully recovers. Females and males can NEVER live together unless you are highly experienced or if they are breeding :)

It's a good thing you posted on here before things got worse! :)
