I feed twice a day. I fast 1 day a week which is my water changing day as I have several who wont eat that day anyway. The only time I skip fasting is during conditioning for spawning.

How much I feed depends on the individual and what I am feeding. Uther, my giant, gets more than the others.
Odin gets 2-3 pellets at a time because he is fed a larger size pellet to make seeing them easier for him. Hannibal and Uther are fed the same pellets as Odin while the rest are on NLS betta pellets.
I vary their diets quite a bit. They get pellets, frozen blood worms, frozen mosquito larvae, live/frozen brine shrimp, and frozen daphnia (if constipated). I do not feed flakes and only Hannibal gets freeze dried blood worms.
