Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? Big variety of flakes, pallets, grains, brine shrimp, sometimes bloodworms as a treat..
How often do you feed your betta fish? once or twice a day, no over feeding..

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? once a week
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 25%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? Prime

Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters?

Tested about a week and a half ago and everything was good, water is crystal clear in his aquarium.

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? Only what I've showen in the picture
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? abit lethargic
When did you start noticing the symptoms? yesterday
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? She did a long bath of PP(10h low dose) No change. (I know he should have been diagnosed first but she didn't tell me until after he was on PP already for a few hours..)

Hi. He looks okay physically from the picture. I see that little bit of redness on his chin but it doesn't look like anything to worry about for now. Mostly, I wonder if he is actually TOO warm. I know there's not much you can do about the temp but 30-31 is pretty warm. Usually I only recommend going up that high for treating external parasites. If you can, try putting bags of ice in the tank to see if that brings the temp down any.

At that temp, their metabolism is going extra so maybe give him just a tiny bit more food than usual to help him maintain his weight and energy level as much as possible. He's still eating right?

Go ahead and move him into a smaller hospital tank if you can and add 1 tsp of aquarium salt per gallon. Ideally, if you can, try to get the temp to about 76. Change the water every day or every other day and redose the salt. Continue this for a week.

He is in a bowl right now, should we replace the PP treatment with salt treatment?
Well might be abit hard since it gets up to 35-40c here in the summer, but we will try leaving the AC on all day for him if it will help..

Yes, since it doesn't seem as if the PP is helping prevent those pimples . . . keep an eye on them. If they start to get bigger or start to resemble cauliflower, let me know.

It's okay, I understand it gets really hot there. Just try to keep him as cool as possible. :)

What I'm wondering is if those pimples are the beginnings of lymphocystis. This, if he does develop it, is an almost always non-fatal virus that causes strange cauliflower-like growths on the body. Because it's a virus, it can't be treated. All you can do is keep the water clean and it should resolve itself within a few months.

If the pimples start to look something like this:

then it's most likely lympho. If they never develop into that, then they're either harmless or something else, depending on his behavior.

His behavior is pretty normal, active and eating..
