Couple questions about Betta and ADF

So a couple days ago I set up my 10 gallon filtered and heated tank. I divided it and placed my two Betta boys in it. My HM started tail biting so I moved him back to his heated 3 gallon. I wanted to add aquarium salt to help him heal, how much should I do? Now one half of my tank it empty except live plants. In a 2.5 gallon I have housed one ADF and two ghost shrimp. Would it be healthier to move those three to the empty half of the ten gallon?

Yeah, I'd think it would be better to house the ADF and the shrimp in the empty half of the tank. Also, 1 tsp of salt per gallon should be fine for helping those torn fins to heal.

Okay thank you so much.
How many ghost shrimp would be ok with the ADF in the empty half?

Would like other opinions on moving my frog as well :D

I don't really know how many shrimps. But two ADFs in half a ten gallon should be fine. I usually consult http://www.aqadvisor.com for my stocking questions. Just enter your tank size, filter, and the fish you currently have and want to have and hit "Calculate" and it'll do all the math for you.
