Alright, so I had a pregnant white balloon molly. Put her in a separate 10g for when she had fry.
The time came about 3 days ago, and I noticed a fairly large nice looking baby swimming around, but there was only one. So I figured within the night, she'd have the rest.
Got up the next morning, no more babies, just one.
Later that day when I got home from work, no more babies, just that one.
Next morning, no more babies, just the same one.
Come home from work today, No babies at all. I'm assuming she ate the only one that was in there, it was healthy looking, could swim well and zip around to get away from her,and i have a cover over the filter,so it didn't get sucked up in there, and I've looked high an low in the tank, no baby.
But my curiosity is about, my momma Molly fish is still huge and looks pregnant, usually after they have the fry I can tell a noticeable difference in their size, but she doesn't seem to have changed.
She eats like a pig, always wanting food, and poops galore. I haven't fed her any different just a small pinch here and there, and she would each some of the baby fry's tid bits here and there.
What gives?!?!
