Sorry for the uhh triple post.but I bought this girl from Karen. She is beautiful

I may pair her with my original turquoise male shown in the second photo. Or this male in the photos in original post. Tell me your opinions mind you the male in the second picture isnt fully flaring.

IMO the DT has too many short front rays. I prefer long front rays. such rays may produce dorsals like your second girl - fan like and balanced. But you want a dorsal like the first guy.

Other than her long anal, she's nice. Sometimes you have to work with what you have (that's what I do) and select the best for further breeding.

I see what you mean. But like you said, if I need more upright I can breed f1 back to the father and strengthen the trait correct?

Yep
Line breeding u chose what trait u like n try to pass it on
Those two will give u some blue marble, butterfly n solid blue
Or u can inbreed your f1
Some of the offspring will show the father trait

Okay I wanted to make sure that I understood, I'll be picking the BEST offspring to keep and breeding them. I understand that you can inbreed up to 5 generations without issues correct?

I have a question, is the female best paired with the male in the original post, or the second male posted under the female.

I'll pick the orginal male from the begging, the male under the female have a cleaner pattern but not as strong as the first male
I don't line breed n inbreed that far so I won't be able to answer that question
Yes you keep the best to breed

Hmm okay. I just love the turqoise color. Maybe I will breed one of the F1 females with male number 2 to get his color pattern into the line.

Your female looks like she has only one ventral.
