How is he looking?

So, I got another betta. Yay :D

I tried to pick a big red Halfmoon but my boyfriend wasn't too fond of him, and I did tell him he could help choose. So then we found Casper. Hidden in the back all by himself.

So, question is, how is he looking? He looks kinda...fat to me. But maybe that's just me.

He doesn't look bloated to me. He's a Cellophane, right? Good thing you rescued him! He's a pretty one! :)

I felt so bad for him...He just looked at me with those beady eyes like he was saying "Please take me home" so I had to. The other fancy halfmoon will get picked up (hopefully by someone with knowledge...) but Casper was probably just looked over for being "clear" as Brother & Boyfriend call him.

He's big but he doesn't look bloated he looks nice and healthy.. Gorgeous :)

He wasn't looking so hot this morning at all. Sitting at the bottom of the tank, clamped and pretty much unresponsive. I thought he was dead so I went to scoop him out and he started swimming.

I went to the pet store and got him a new silk plant and one of Dumbledore's old logs that isn't in his tank anymore and he seems to be doing fine. He ate 3 pellets this afternoon and is now resting in his plant. He's still clamped, but I think that's stress...Crossing my fingers for little Casper.
