Yesterday, my giant HMPK female Theresa was releasing eggs in her bowl, next to my big male, Ledley. I tossed them in together, and they immediately began to spawn. This is the second time they have spawned, but Ledley is a bad dad- he ate every single egg the last time. He was doing the same thing yesterday, so I am trying to raise the eggs myself. I suspended fine mess on the surface of a bowl, and siphoned the eggs from the tank bottom into the net. Now, they are right under the surface of the water. About half look like they are developing, and they should hatch early tomorrow if they are going to. Just sharing, and wondering if anyone else has tried this? I do not want to lose this clutch too, so fingers crossed!
