Question about reverse osmosis water

Is it safe to use Stress Coat with RO water (treated with Neutral Regulator and RO Right)?

*At the LPS where I work, we use RO water for all of our tanks because the tap water is unreliable in terms of pH, ammonia, and nitrates.

Often, a lot of purified water is too stripped of essential minerals to be healthy for a betta. The best bets are spring water or conditioned tap water, I believe.

That's what the RO Right is for...puts all the minerals back in.
As I said, the tap water is too unreliable.

EDIT: The question wasn't "What's better," the question was "Is it safe to use Stress Coat in RO water?"

I don't see any problems with using stress coat with RO water, but I think it is probably unnecessary unless you need it for its healing properties.

I would. Just to be sure and to help maintain your bettas. I only use Stress Coat and IAL in my water and I have rapid regrowth of fins and scales from fish that have recently been bred.

Most people that I know use Prime with their R/O.
