Grubby (pic spam)

Well I got a new boy and I named him after our school's mascot; Grubby. Grubby is blue and yellow (just like my school colors) but he has the brightest, heaviest iridescent shine I've even seen. It literally makes him greenish blue. I'll post regular pictures of him (his blue and yellow color) and then I'll post a picture or two of his shine. And look he's even blown a bubble nest!

Thanks! I can't wait until he gets his full finage. He's not even fully grown. Poor guy. He was in such bad shape I thought he had a deformity. There was an unusual bend to him. Now with proper pellets and feeding schedules the bend has been going away. I'm usually not one for the blue and yellow combo's either

thanks! he's gotten even brighter in color recently. I moved him up to a bigger critter keeper cage (had in a gallon qt tank) and he loves it. He's got a cave and plants and even a moss ball. He was so happy he made me a bubble nest, but it got destroyed in a water change. He is super alert and attentive. I think he's starting to chunk out a bit too, I did a few days where I fed him mosquito larva (all of my fish got a few days of nummy nummy food). I should go take more pictures lol.

Thanks! Well i said I'd try to get more pictures and here they are. He refuses to flare at a reflection but when my bird sits by his tank we get all puffed up and wiggly lol. Silly silly fish! He also only has one tiny spot of red on his whole body... you can see it on his anal fin. The last one is a pic of his new diggs. He's pretty happy in there.

Grubby's got a very nice looking face. Too bad the scratched acrylic detracts from the photos.

I need to get rid of my acrylic tank. Those scratches drive me crazy.

The last photos from both of your spams are my favorite because you can't see scratches.

Other than that, grubbie's pretty
