Being called fat

He called you fat for basically eating water? I mean if you were shoving chips, pizza, McDonalds, etc. that's different (no excuse for rudeness). You're a teen right? We're supposed to eat and eat a lot. What does he honestly expect?

I am 21 actually and I barely eat when I do eat.

You really should eat :/ I have issues eating as well but I drink a few protein shakes throughout the day (I just chug it since I hate them). Gotta eat something.

I know exactly how that feels. That was my dad and I's biggest struggle in our relationship. I remember him one time telling me any guy that would want me would have to be on drugs, I weighed 140 at the time. I still struggle with dieting, but try my best, not for him, but for myself. I am 18 and have had the same boyfriend for 3 years in october, and he loves me for who I am, and the only time he ever says anything is when he wants to make sure I am HEALTHY.

Was he serious? Like not doing it jokingly? If he was serious, what a jerk!

I know my family and I joke around all the time about this and that but they know not to take it too far with me because I've stormed out of rooms on occasion when they did.

In the end Shaina it's not whether someone likes you, it's if you like you. Don't feel bad for being who you are, and if you want to change then that's good too. But if someone wants to be jerk tell them they're being a jerk, and do it until they get the message.

I told my dad something like that. Except it was much more graphic and I was in tears. Didn't talk to him for a day. Then the next day I came home to a pile of candy on the table. (Because I was right! Yea!)
In your case I'd probably just like, have a serious talk. Tell him that it seriously hurts your feelings. Or if you can't do that, bring it up to your mom even if you're on good terms with her and she's living with you guys. I do that a lot too.
Parents are so difficult. Ugh.
