Talking Cool Betta Toy I Made

Hi,I was watching my betta during his mirror time and I thought
What if I put a bloodworm on a lid? So I did that and he looked at
It like what am I supposed to do with this. I tapped the little botte cap and
he pushed from the bottom and knocked the bloodworm out and gobbled it up.
So every now and then I let him try for another bloodworm.

Thanks For Reading

Oh wow. This is a great hunting toy! Do you have a picture?
Do you just droop it over the side of a regular coke bottle cap? A plastic bottle one? Or one of the smaller beer cap ones? I'd like to try it but I wonder how they would see the bloodworm?

I tried that with my betta before, but how'd you get them to notice it. Did you wiggle it in their face or did you put it in the water?

The materials you will need:
A small lid(bottle,coke,milk cap)
Your bettas favorite food(bloodworms,brine shrimp)
Patience
----------------------
Instructions:
First you need to do this when your betta is hunger I recommend feeding time.
Once they get to the surface let them see the treat, give them a tiny piece(to keep interest).
Put the cap on the water's surface get their attention and hang the food over side.
If they don't get it the first try lower the treat to where it barely touches the water.
Once they get the hang of it raise the treat higher they.
Then once it barely hangs of they will and might try to tip the lid:)

BE CAUTIOUS OF JUMPING IF YOUR TANK DOES NOT HAVE ONE THEN YOU SHOULD
SUPERVISE YOUR FISH DURING THE TRAINING

eek thanks! I gorged them last night while I cleaned their tanks so I'll probably do this next week when more bloodworms come out.
