Exclamation 2 and half year old swimming funny and trouble eating

My male betta Swish, is swimming and leaning a bit to his. This is even worse I am I am leaving for day sin a bout an hour and still need to get ready. My dad is taking care of him.
So, last night he was just laying and the bottom and didn't move even when I put my finer by glass by his face. I lifted the top and he wobbled to the top. I added a plant and changed teh gravel to sand a couple of days ago, could that be it?
Otherwise he look fines, but seems to have a hard time getting to the food and finding it.

I am so worried for him! :(

How big is his tank, does he have a heater, how much and how often do you feed him? there are a lot of things we need to know in order to help, and it could just be age. Make sure his water is clean and treated, his water is 78 degrees and he is being fed a total of 4-6 pellets a day, most people split feedings to morning and night. If it's an illness, we need to know as much as possible.
