New Betta

I just bought a new Betta fish He is a common blue VT with a red wash. Whats not so common about him though is that he has long flowy pectoral fins...Has anyone else seen this in a Betta? My camera is not working so I can't post a pic But I saw a couple similar on google images so will put up one

My yellow VT, Honeycomb, has SUPER long ventral fins.Maybe you have a Big Ear Betta/elephant ear betta.

Check out my albums, it just differs from betta to betta and their genetic makeup. :)

Buddha and Honeycomb are both super cute :) I will post pics as soon as I get hold of a camera. I'm pretty sure he is not a dumbo/elephant ear as his pectorals are more long an narrow/clear rather than the fuller shaped pectoral fins elephant ear bettas seem to have. I've decided to call him Grindewald since he has an 'evil' streak and seems to love to flare so much at Godric whenever their tanks are near each other (Harry Potter fans should get the reference).

Thanks Emmalee01! I loved playing that game!! Especially the first one where you set all the dragons free though Ripto's Rage was pretty fun too, ooh I just thought of the name for my third betta now LOL.
