Missing part of anal fin

My new cellophane female who is missing half of her anal fin. There is nothing that indicates it grew in. Is this a common occurrence?

I don't know if I'd call it common, but I would think as with anything else there are those born with "defects". So long as she is healthy and happy I wouldn't worry about it.

How long have you had her that you can say that it hasnt grown in even if she is new? One of my fish hasn't grown one section of her anal fin but I think she was born that way. So it could either be that or there has not been enough time for it to heal yet.

I have had her for 2 weeks. She is a happy little girl and I think that makes her unique. The part she does have has spots on her, so I am thinking she is a cellophane dalmation VT

But yeah, some rips/tears take slightly longer and some heal within 1-2 days. Hope it gets better.
