Betta changing color

I bought Phillip from petco he was in a nasty cup ridden with poo. He is now in a 10 gallon tank with friends but anyways, He use to have a dark red body and fin's But now he is turning pinkish on his body and his fins are getting blue streaks on them also some of his scales are turning blue. What is this? has this happened to any of you guys? Ive had him for about 4-5 months now and he just literally changed today. This morning he was dark red now it look's like his color is fading.

This colouration change is quite normal for betta fish. Don't worry about it. Its actually pretty cool for your fish to change colour so much.

One question, what 'friends' are in the tank?

That's normal - he either has what genetics call "red loss" which is the elimination of red pigments or he has "marble" genes which can change dark colors into pale and then dark again (or not) - either back to the original color or to a different color.
