Orange bettas?

Are they very uncommon? Specially at Petco and such? I saw a DT halfmoon male today and it was light orange. And had blue on the body and some of it's fins. And it was more clear at the edges of the entire fin.

I had an orange/black VT once from Petsmart. Unfortunately, he only lasted about 2 days. He was a beauty. I wouldn't be surprised. :) Still a wondrous find! :D

At one point I had an orange butterfly DT named Charlie. Unfortunately I lost him :(

I have this little guy, Mr. Happy, who is a peach/coral/orange colored double CT. I got him at Petco.
But I do think they're more rare finds - so I would snatch one up if you find one!

I got mine at Petsmart and then saw another orange one just like him at Wal-mart a couple of days later. I had never realized they were considered more rare.

Cheeto, my orange fish:

Mannnn. I tried going back and buying it. Someone purchased it. I remember texting my friend about it because she loves bettas. She ends up buying it haha. Least I know he's in good hands and will have a safe and good home.

Female vt, Orange blossom (so original I know!)

Mislabled as a female, really a male plakat, orange and blue, he has such striking colours. He is also nesting like a champ.

I had an orange one I got from Petsmart. I had him for about 2.5 years. He passed away about 2 weeks ago. He wasn'tll a bright, vivid orange. More of a dark orange.
