Meijer has bettas?!

I just got home from a grocery run at our local Meijer and I was surprised to find a single, red, male crowntail sitting all alone in his little cup in the store. I knew Meijer sold tanks and such, but I had no idea they had actual live fish. I felt so bad for the little dude. He swam right up to the side of the cup when I put my finger up and he wiggled at me. :( I wanted to take him home so badly, but I only just got Drago, so... sadly, I have no tank for him. I wish I had the money to buy a new setup and rescue this little guy. Hopefully someone will take him home soon.

They do have bettas me and my friend rescued two of them from meijer once a female which we are now thinking is a halfmoon because she has a 180 degree fin flare and a male veiltale butterfly he is really pretty to now.

Oh yeah they only have meijer's in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
