Since replacing deceased little Red with a Siamese Fantail, I've
certainly noticed little Blooie doesn't mess and grouse with him like
he did with little Red. Little "Brown Rainbow" costs twice as much as
the scissor-tails from the pet store, but I wanted one of these for
several reasons. So a new little Fantail it is.
Why is it these fish seem traumatized once I take them out of the
petshop? They don't want to eat, they lay around like a bump on a log.
It really takes a few days for them to come to their senses and
realize they're in a great tank now.
I did a eye-to-eye with little Brown Rainbow. He's got the cutest
little face? With these little beady black eyes that you can't really
notice on the scissor tails like little Red. And I'll tell you
something else, I got quite spooked once I stared back into little
Brown Rainbow's soul for that one second. For as small as these little
critters are, they're cute but if they stare back at you with those
eyes (which Brown Rainbow did for a second) it can scare the living
he k out of you. I guess that's why little Blooie don't mess with his
new tankmate. But yet little Brown Rainbow is still traumatized from
the pet store experience. But slowly and surely I'm helping him
