HM vs PK Breeding

When you breed HM and PK, is HM male x PK female better?

Or should it be PK male x HM female?
Or does it matter?

My PK female is very mean. I wonder if she attack HM long tail male (poor guy might become ugly).

Since I only breed HM's, I don't know. I would guess you would get fins that are too short for HM, and too long for PK.

That is why I like (I do not like pure HM because fin is too long) and I do not like PK fin, which is too short.

HMPK fin is about what I like , cool.

I know you can cross the two and I have never had problems with my females eating my males. But I have had crazy hm females that would attack pk males... Any case there is a theory that fry take after the female body shape more but I have never noticed it in my fry.

I'll go with hmxhmpk
It's a lot easier to find a balance hmpk female then a hm female

My uncle told me the same thing about "fry take after female body." he also told me that fry took after their mother for endurance and take after father for fighting style. So he only use outside male to breed in with his inhouse female. He trusted that his female line never took off during the fight.

He used to take this betta to Singapore and Thailand to fight and won most of the time. He did not have any match when he was in Vietnam.

I do not fight betta.

I agree with the female thing
Go to any top imported breed(Thai)
They will sell u there male but when u ask for a female from the same pond
They will say no

According to a breeder in my city,he said the fry will take on the female's apperance and the father's colour pattern.
