I wonder if it depends on the betta's disposition instead of the size of their fins. I have had betta's with small fins who are less active than my betta's with longer fins. But that's just a guess. ;)

The breeder won't have their bettas in big nor filtered tanks. The bettas won't have the strength to swim that much. Thus they will tire very easy, until they do build up the strength. However, it would be trying to run in clown shoes, you are working so hard to just go a certain length, yet you will be more than twice as tired. If you think about it, it makes sense...

Beautiful HM, Wildflower. You can exercise your fish by flaring him, making him jump for food and finger chasing. Fun for you both.
