Couldn't stand it, had to bring them home

I went to Petco to get some frozen brine shrimp and of course had to check out the bettas. They were all in such sad shape. My daughter and I picked two to bring home and nurse back to health.

Meet Karloff our new plakat. He's skinny and stressed. I'm hoping good water quality, a healthy diet and a 3g tank will help him get to where he should be.

And this poor guy, he's a halfmoon with almost no tail left. We named him Vincent. I'm hoping we can help heal him up as well.

D'aww, poor little things....but adorable all the same. <3 And so much potential; with a bit of time they'll certainly color up and be absolutely stunning I bet!

Great job!! Glad to see some of those needy Beetas found a happy ending to their sad cups. It's amazing how a little warm water and some food can do. I'm so happy to see amazing stories like this! Great find!!!
