I know... It happened here 3-4ish years ago. Its one of those laws that confirms the notion that the politicians live in a world of their own, seperated from the 'commoners'.

They voted that stupid law and were closing down net-cafes one after the other. Till they got to the courts and the attorneys decided that this kind of law was against the constitution and citizen rights and was overruled six months later.

Am i the only one who read the comments on that? he lived in a desert type land scape, and collected water in 3 ponds for his 170 acres to keep it from dusting up, and he was supposed to have permits to hold water and he did, until the Gov. took them away.... the place he lived had an average of 15 inches of rain a year. i think that was a major factor, but still, its a POND its not like they dont have rain every where else, those 3 litle ponds arent going to do alot of damage if they already live in a desert and only receive 15 inches of rain. its stupid either way.

I know this is an old thread but I found it interesting in New York I forget the size I think it is 20 ounces but there is a maximum on Soda.

sounds like one of the new laws to limit consumption of junk food and carbonate drinks. i support it totally bc if the companies had it their way, they'd be advertising a small sized soda that holds a minimum of 2 litres. they'd have a large sized thats a whole gallon and 1.5gal for extra large size. the best part of it would be that the extra large would still top off at 2-3 dollars without tax only adding to the current trend of obesity.
