Bubblenest?????

I think my Sushi made his first bubble nest! Is this indeed a bubblenest? Does this confirm that Sushi is a male? (in case you don't know, my Sushi I got as a baby and is now about 15-ish (give or take) weeks old. I have had many different answers as to what "tail/type" and sex he is. I have attached a pic of the "bubble nest" as well as recent pics of him. One is blurry, but you can see his green :sheen: to him that is hard to capture

Definitely a bubble nest!

Without seeing a flared pic, it's hard to tell tail type for me. >>
In my opinion, your Sushi is a boy.
However, females sometimes build nests too so you can't use only that as an indicator. ^_^

You will be able to see a black flap around the bottom of his face area even if he isn't flaring.
If you have a small mirror, hold it by the bubblenest or somewhere he likes to be. He should start to flare for you. :) I use an old makeup powder compact with a mirror inside.
Sorry this took so long for me to respond btw.
