Unhappy Twizzler is hurt!

I was checking out Twizzler last night, and I noticed that she had a little red mark that looks like a wound on the side of her face.

I think she's maybe been getting stuck to the filter, because I had to help her get off once yesterday (she's always fought off the small current before!).

Today I bought aquarium salt and bettafix and gave her some of both.
And I bought a beach chair decoration to prop up against the filter so she won't get stuck.

Is there anything else I can do for her wound?

Just use the aquarium salt but not for more than ten days.. Do a 100% water change to remove all the Bettafix, you don't want any of that, it's very bad for the betta's labyrinth organ because of the tea tree oil present in it.. Keep the water exceptionally clean, if she is in a small tank like 1 -2 gallon then do 100% water changes at least every other day till the treatment ends so that she doesn't get an infection. Feed her nice protein rich foods to help her heal, like bloodworms or mosquito larva :D. Good luck!

Edit: Is she acting normal otherwise?

Then you should just go ahead with the salt.. I'm sure she'll be fine though! I have a hot head who gets bruised and scraped every week lol! As long as there is no change in behavior or the wound looking worse, you shouldn't worry. But just remember, don't use Bettafix ever! Maybe you can return the bottle and buy something else lol! And you're welcome! :D

Thanks again. xD
I'll just throw away the bottle though, I bought it a few months ago, and I don't think it's returnable. :P

She might have cut herself on a tank decoration or plant... Check out your tank for any sharp edges on plants/decorations.

Also, if your filter has a flow adjustor, set the filter to low. Otherwise, maybe baffle it so she doesn't get stuck again. Poor girl, I hope her cut gets better. The salt treatment will help because salt helps them produce their slime coat.
