"you let your fish die"(ignore, just letting out emotions)

(Ranting i know)
So i just found out my family friends son (who i gifted a 3g tank, gravel, plants, and a cave, water conditioner, and food) well his fish died. I asked if they got a heater (as i told them to in august) and she "dont wanna hear anything from you about it. You let your fish die too, hell your fish died first. The house is heated so the fish just died, you killed your fish in the car or something" and thats the story of how i ended up crying in the car :/

Sorry, I was visiting some family friends. They got their son a fish in August so I got everything but a heater for it and told 2 adults and the 9 year old to get it a heater. Well it died and when I asked whether or not they got it a heater that happened. (My fish passed away recently during a 2 day drive home from college where he was in a .5g kritter keeper just for that trip, stress and cold I think is what did it) anyways because I "let my fish die" I have no right to say anything about theirs. Since their home is heated the fish couldn't have needed it's own heater, it just died. Also since my fish died during travel under my care It's my fault that my fish died. So I went out to the car for a few minutes until I stopped hyperventilating and played with the kids the rest of the day

Wow, sounds like people you maybe shouldn't be wasting your time with. I'm so sorry, Sayla.

It's fine, everyone else in the family is normal (or else a child) but she (the grandmother) has some mental problems. I spent the rest of the afternoon either playing with marshmallow guns or beading. They're little 3-5-9 year old red heads <3
I just needed to get that off my chest and off my mind, plus I hate crying in front of children.
