Unhappy SBD and fin rot

I believe with the medicine i have given him and i also bought a heater has helped my fish but I just took him out and put him in another bowl that i use for when he is sick. he gave me so many bubbles and love that it made me cry. but the heater was making him too hot so he was laying on his side so that's when i was really crying and praying. his daddy had surgery today. so i thought maybe he knew something was going on. he also hasn't ate since last Friday when i went to pick him up. he knows who i am and just stroke his back a little and it made him feel better. im going to do that until hes 100%. i also told him that i loved him and i didn't want him to die. I think he can sense it. In fact I know he can. he even looks at me with so much love and gentleness that my heart breaks that he is sick. :(

ok first off don't pet your fish. It damages the slime coating on them and loosing that can cause big big issues. For fin rot get some macrobiotics or a cure all that mentions fin rot, and for the SBD does with 2tsp per gallon of unscented epsom salt.

epsom salt is the only thing that helps that, or frozen daphnia
