Have you ever heard of this dropsy treatment method?

Taking a syringe and draining the excess fluids from a betta's abdomen?

Long story short, I heard of it and found a syringe in the basement (my mom is a doctor sooo) and I kept it in my room just in case. WELL now my parents think I do drugs :(

so just wondering if you have ever heard of it cuz I wanna no if my parents will believe me. If they google it do you think they will find it?

Yes I head of it, but it's very uncommon

I never have, but that doesn't mean anything.

I suggest doing the research and showing it to your parents. I personally wouldn't mess around with it. Too much could go horribly wrong imo without a very good understanding of the innards of a betta and having a working knowledge of having dissected one completely...

Whatever you decide to do though GL

Lol thanks :) btw dropsy is a death sentence itself and a mistake would just end the suffering. I would obv do it under clove oil anyway so If I did something that would make it wouse I would just euthanize like I would. The draining is just a fighting chance really.
