Exclamation Many.... Problems. Help?

I went to check on my sisters betta today, and noticed something that looked like a huge piece of poop on top of one of his decorations. It was poop, Im pretty sure. But it was like the size of two grains of rice balled up into one! I almost never see Piccolo's feces, so thats how I know something is very wrong. The fish I was talking about, dubbed Mr. Mia, has a bit of.... problems, that I should tell you. First of all, his tank isnt cleaned enough. I nag her about that and it is getting cleaned more now. He has a bad case of fin rot/melt, but it is getting better eith the cleanings. He is a male HM in a 2 gal tank. One side of is body is much duller than the other. He has no tankmates. He eats pellets, bloodworms, and occasional flakes. And this is my sisters fish, not mine. I will post pictures soon. Any tips about these problems will help immensely.

My bettas do enormous poops like that - hard to believe they can come out of a tiny fishbutt, but they do. Poop depends on what he's eating..

For the fin rot - yep, clean water is the fish's best friend. If you read the sticky on disease (and fin rot treatment ) at the top of the forum it gives instructions on how to use AQ salt to help with rot.

Glad you're looking out for your sister's fish. I hope he recovers well.

Lol.
Here are the pics: (If it shows in the pic, his filter is fine, it was momentarily broken. Fine now.)

And for the different side colors:
One side is this color
But the other side is this color.
Those aren't exact, but I think you get the point.

Thanks for the advice. :)

That's a big turd... It should be normal. As long as it's not white and stringy. Are you sure it isn't a pellet? Not sure about his color, sorry. I wouldn't worry if he's not lethargic.

Yeah. I'll see if it's still there or if it rolled off, the thing it was on is sort of slanted.

:) It's still there but I'm not sure how to get it out as it's at the bottom of the tank now. He has one of those mesh scooper things, but I can't find it. >.< It'll be out before tonight though.
