bubble castle?

So I have a new betta fish and sense I brought him home he seems to have made a.... well a mess with bubbles everywhere!! My other two bettas have their nests built nice and neat in corners tucked around some plants.... but this new betta.... has 3 separate bubble nests along 3 different walls and all of them are linked together with a line of bubbles that runs along the entire perameter of the tank. and the biggest of the nests is being covered by a leaf that happens to reach the surface.... has anyone else experienced something similar? or is my betta literally crazy about bubble nests?

Nah, mine did the same thing today, using the bubble nest he made yesterday, he made a new one along the adjoining side and connected them with a whole bunch of bubbles along the side.
It took him about 5 days after I got him to start making bubble nests but now he makes one a day. Hehe
