Ripped fins, Enormous belly D: *Smacks Kuro*

I got Kuro back three days ago, and's he's had this hole in his tail that looks like it wasnt going to heal..

and today..... he ripped his tail from that hole outwards. Gah I'm so mad!!!

On top of that he's found the hermit crab pellet and gorged on that despite being fed a plentiful breakfast D< if he develops SBD or bloat..
I'm going to starve him so that he can properly digest , hmmpf

I'm wondering if I should go get some epsom salt right now.... just in case :/

I figured that whatever is in the crab pellets will help the shrimps nutritionally when then need to moult :/ thought I've never lost RCS to a moult... only ghost shrimps, lol.

Was there a solution somewhere for flaring at tank walls? I think he's seeing his own reflection everywhere. If he keeps that up, his tail will never heal...

@ Ivandert - I've been wanting to tell you this for a while... That rabbit/hare is just too darn cute

The hermit crab food I've seen has nothing but wheat & soy as the main ingredient.

I'm surprised you didn't cover the intake of the filter with some sort of prefilter.

I've lost many a shrimplettes that way.

Glad my halfmoon just lounges around all day. I need to buy him one of those silicone anemone decorations to use as a couch.

i didnt cover the intake cos the holes are horizontal and pretty small, though I think I'll cut up a stocking to put over it if my RCS ever produce shrimplets :) Kuro's a pretty small fish, I kept saying that he makes the 2.5 look like a 10g :3

The one I got has fish meal and fish oil as the main ingredients... I havent checked the rest... But i hope Kuro's mini watermelon of a stomach will shrink soon...
