I know how you feel. Dumbledore was finally showing signs of growing fins out. I leave for a week and come back to a chewed up mangled tail. I could've smacked him. And of course he just doesn't seem to care that he's a VT and wants to be a plakat instead. FINE. IF YOU DON'T WANT PRETTY FINS BE THAT WAY D<

As for the epsom salt, I'd get some just in case things don't pass through.

Any big chain store should have it; walmart, target etc. Just make sure its unscented

You can get it pretty much anywhere. A place I'm almost 100% positive that would have it is a pharmacy. Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aide, whatever. Or Walmart, Target, any big chain store. Just make sure it's unscented. Bettas don't like smelling good :P

Edit: Usually it comes in a bag, like a resealable bag. Just so you kinda know what to look for. :)

Kinda like a ziploc bag. Same principle. Or it might come in a milk carton like container. Good luck :)

I can't offer any advice, but will say that once my sd also decided to try out the "double tail" look. SIGH! Your fins are beautiful the way you are, bettas!! Never change!

Duane Reade go to DT instead

Dollar Tree may have it, but I highly recommend you call the store first to see if they have it in stock.

Wow, you can have them deliver your orders to a store if you purchase a bulk order.

I may buy a case, because I guess it has other beneficial uses other than treating sick fish.

$3.59 6lbs.

Not a fan of the Duane Reade, last time I was in NYC, I parked the car around a D.R. not far from Wall Street & went down the stairs into a DR and wouldn't you know. I couldn't use their bathroom. Ended up going to Starbucks and good thing too some guy was checking out my car most likely to do a smash & grab.
