Question How do You Clean a Dirty Goodwill Tank?

So I had a eh day, and I found myself at Goodwill cause retail therapy that's why.
I found a nice 10 gallon tank with a cover for $5. Yeah, it's mine now.
Now I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to clean it because god knows what happened in it. It's kinda dirty and doesn't look like fish-dirty.

So, how should I clean this used tank?

I would try some white distilled vinegar and hot water, or lemon juice and hot water, but if it doesn't work, I wouldn't trust to use it..no chemicals, or soap..rinse really well, and let dry for 48 hrs..hope it works..:)

Sweetness, thanks for the tips! I shall try those right away once I sneak the tank in the house lol. Oh and the "dirty" look to this tank is that whoever had this before didn't use it for fish purposes...I see chunks of floor stuff that look like the same floor stuff my boyfriend uses for his monitor's tank.

I would use a warm vinegar solution mixed with water, like the person above suggested.

Congratulations on finding such a good deal!
