O.o really I got mine fine and I know a few others that get theirs. It was in an envelope with a plastic bag and I believe it said live plant on it...

and they were a little bigger than marbles.

4 bucks I think was what I paid. It was under 10 bucks total. I can't complain I like them. Like I said their shipping was a bit long but I had been in contact with them the whole time discussing fish things. They offered me a double order for the price of a single but I had to decline, I didn't have the spare cash lol.

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions. I did not know about the mossballs helping with algae control. I have a snail but he attacks it... so no tankmates for him.

Snails will clean up the algae really nice! But keep in mind, snails poop quite a bit, but I have white gravel and I very rarely see the poo on the surface of the gravel, usually it buries underneath and goes unnoticed until you siphon.

Also when no algae is present, the snail will need to be separated for awhile & fed algae wafers/zucchini/cucumber.. I reccomend nerite snails because they can't successfully reproduce in fresh water (they make eggs but the eggs won't hatch)

Lessening the amount of time your tank light is on will help as well.

I can't add snails because he tries to kill them.

I may try a moss ball. How do I go about adding one to the tank safely?
