Transparent looking patches in caudal fins

Okay, I have a 5 girl sorority and a couple days ago I noticed that there are no holes in their caudal fins, but that it looks like it because there are patches of fin that are kinda transparent. I'm just trying to figure out if this is from fin nipping or if I should worry. Right now all my girls have this a little bit except for my alpha.

if the patches are near the ends of the fins or are where holes/ripped fins used to be, then thats just new fin coming in.

The spots are not at the edges and I never noticed any tears where the transparent patches are. I like to sit and watch my girls a lot so I feel like I would have noticed that, but maybe their fins regrow really quickly and the tears happen when I'm at work?

its possible. she might also just be changing colors. If she's not acting sick I'd say she isn't. Just keep an eye on her

She isn't acting sick, but she shows her stress lines a lot. At first I would test the water every time I saw her them, but everything was always the same and within normal ranges. Then I started to notice her stress lines would go away after feeding, but she'd show them again later the next time I went up to the tank. Do some girls just do that?

yeah they do. I'm finding out that some fish have separation anxiety. When you feed them your right there and next to the tank, hence the stripes go away, but then you leave lol. And other fish are just plain stripey for no reason lol

Just keep an eye on her. If she starts to get lazy or pale then something up, but until then your good.
