Patrick has the mystery disease :(

Well my poor old boy had just been full of issues recently. He had a stroke a while back that killed his pectoral fin and half paralized him, and now he's got that darn mystery disease blues get. I noticed it a bit last night and thought it was fin rot (I started treatment on that last night) but this morning it has progressed almost to his body. He's also developed a big ole case of bloat although he only had two pellets last night, along with a bit of SBD. It's looking like I'll be needing to do a euthanasia on him. Poor old guy has been through a lot. I'll miss you Patrick

One of my fish died because of that disease I hope Patrick lives through it.

But I fear that there is no saving him if he passes...

S.I.P Patrick

Oh no :(

How long have you had him? I thought that disease showed up fairly quickly after taking the fish home from the pet store. Is this not the case??

I hope you can help him get better - poor guy :(

As far as i know it just kinda happens. I've had him for 2 years now and my friend before me had him a year (I think). It looks like it's at his body now. I swear I could watch it move across him. Well I think its time to get a mason jar and clove oil...

I'm sorry to hear this, he is a gorgeous fish. I'm sure he had a wonderful happy life with you. Rest easy, pretty boy.
