I just started a 5 gallon tank and am happy to have my new fish, Bradbury. Getting a decent picture is a bit difficult at this point, but I hope to have a good one to post soon. This is the best I've done so far:



I am looking forward to learning all about how to care for Bradbury and making him a very happy fish.

Thanks eaturbyfill! He is quite the fireball. He won't stop moving ATM, which has me a little worried. I've had him just over 24 hours and I'm already fretting about his behavior.

Welcome to the forum. Bettas love a sense of security or place to chill out. Have you given him some kind of cave or ornamenent? . Some do take a bit longer to acclimate to a new tank so he should be fine in a few days.

Bradbury is a great name for a fish :)

I do have an ornament in the tank as well as three silk plants. He only seems interested in swimming along the back of the tank though. I'm hoping he'll settle down and explore.

He is one of my favorite authors. When I decided to get a betta I knew what I was going to name him right away.
