welcome to the forum! Pleas keep in mind bettas are solitary fish, need atleast 3 gallons to themselves, and a heater is a MUST :) The water needs to be at at least 80 degrees constantly. Males and females should never be together bless for breeding purposes, which requires a massive amount of skill, equipment, practice, patience......the list goes on..and sometimes even requires a lot of money..
If you aren't experienced with betta keeping, please don't even think of breeding. If you don't condition the bettas before spawning, the male can actually kill the female. Also, petstore bettas are usually never suited for breeding, and you would most likely have to buy them form a breeder, which can cost you some bucks.
Be careful bettas are addicting!
GOOD LUCK, AND CANT WAIT TO SEE PICS!
