Color-change!!!

Okay so my new betta. still havnt named him :/ itll come sooner or later. anyways his base color is a dark grey/black. and then throughout his fins are like blotches/streaks of red. also a big blotch of red on his head and gills.

Okay the while point of this is that when my betta goes ...diagnal or angled his grey parts turn into a shiny blue.

DOes anyone elses bettas do this?

*postnote. my snail is weird. He never does anything when i watch him. i leave for a hour and bang hes on the other side of the tank. its like the stone angels in doctor who. if uve seen em u know what i mean.

sounds like he has some iridescence, which is a shine on his scales that can make colours look different when the lights change.

I've got a CT like that, and its awesome to watch, especially if they're active. Its even cooler if they have more than one color that shows up. I've got a steel plakat that turns purple, pale peach, and/or green, depending on how the light hits him. Otherwise, he's just a steel/silver color

I have a delta that is green and white. His green scales have a blue iridecence. He's gorgeous.
