betta rescue

So I was replacing a betta that I lost this week at Petsmart -- And did get a new dragon plaket when I saw this sad dragon that was not going to make it to anyone's home!! So the manager let me rescue him ---- now hopefully i can get him healthy. Besides water changes, warmth, and out of the cup ---i am asking for suggestions on any treatments....I do not know if he is ill or just suffering from bad water ---- Any ideas??

stress coat (1ml per gallon) and aq salt (1/2 tsp per gallon) it'll help clear a lot of things up. He probably has some ammonia burn on his gills from being in that cup.

Good!!! 3 days and signs of improvement. Another 4 days and we should start to see some real personality out of this guy.

Congrats on your rescue..Thank you for helping that lil guy..I am currently on my 2nd Immediate rescue, I rescued one last week, now this week another one, and it's just amazing what some TLC and warm salt water will do for these lil guys..keep up the good work, you will see fin growth soon..:)
That is the best way to go..change the water every day 100% and replace the salt as you go, it does wonders:)
